The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Oregon grants the wishes of children
with life-threatening medical conditions. Beginning in 1980 when a
little boy named Chris wished to be a police officer. He remains, to
this day the only honorary menber of the Phoenix police force. In his
memory, those involved in granting Chris' wish started the Foundation
which has granted over 193,000 wishes worldwide. This event is to
support local children's wishes being granted in Oregon and Southwest Washington.
